The experience
Simple flows. Every kind of event.
Orb was designed for all kinds of events, from a political summit to a cookout, and from events booked months in advance to a school comedy show.
The booking flows for simpler, one-off events and more sophisticated events share the same foundations. Booking and event creation needed to feel simple and unambiguous. Rather than relying on the three-click rule, the focus was on balanced interactions without unnecessary steps.
With mobile screens as the priority, Orb followed a mobile-first approach inspired by Tailwind CSS, supporting detailed filtering and extensive event metadata.
The ambition
The concept aimed to become a go-to platform for eventgoers and event organisers in Nigeria, with an anticipated weekly audience of 100K.
